Covid-19 Response (Updated 1/2022)

As we move into the second semester, we continue to navigate Covid-19 and its impact on our families. Our goal is to continue having in-person classes throughout the second semester and give our students the best possible Christian education that we can provide while keeping our campus safe and healthy. We will continue to monitor national, state, and local guidelines to determine what is best for Ezell-Harding Christian School. On that note, we will follow the protocols listed below beginning this Monday, January 10.

  1. Please monitor your children for any symptoms of sickness. If your child has symptoms - do not send your child to school. This simple policy is the best way to not spread any sickness among our student body. Our teachers do a great job of working with students who miss school. Please just call our office and let us know that your child has symptoms of sickness and we will let their teacher know.

  2. If your child is awaiting a test result for Covid-19, has been around anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, or has been around anyone who is awaiting a test result from Covid-19, please keep them at home. Once again, this is a very effective way for sickness to not spread on our campus.

  3. Masks will be optional for the entire EHCS campus.

  4. A student or teacher testing positive for Covid-19 will need to quarantine for a 10 day period.

  5. A student or teacher who has been exposed to another person who has tested positive for Covid-19 will need to quarantine for 5 days. Students will not have to quarantine if they either have been vaccinated or have had Covid in the last six months. If a student develops symptoms during those five days, they will need to be tested for Covid-19 in order to return to school.

  6. Stepping Stones students will not have to quarantine after exposure if they are not displaying symptoms. If a student begins to display symptoms, they will need to be tested for Covid-19 in order to return to school.  The classroom in which the student is in will be isolated from the rest of the Stepping Stones classes and the rest of the student body for five days.

Thank you for your continued partnership with Ezell-Harding Christian School. We are looking forward to a great second semester! God bless Ezell-Harding Christian School!
